The endless wait
Hoping the thing that makes us wait. Thats why “caste aways” spent entire lives waiting for a ship to pass by. People lost in jungles keep on moving whatever is left till the painful end in the amazon or even a JEE aspirant used to study more than half a day for years
jus to get a seat in his future abode.
But why do i wait? I am nearly done for my college studies. I have in my third job in the third year of my work life. Having told all this it should be a no brainer. Well yes i know it sounds strange but cann’t help. Yes I do wait. For a phone call that I know is not gonna be returned or a mail that i dont know will not be returned till eternity.
How strange is the human mind that forgets the things you need most like the most important phone no.s but when you even order it to forget about the this it reminds you at the very next moment. And then at these very moments you realize that beauty of ghazal “magar bhulana bhi chahoon to kis tarah bhoolon ke tum to fir bhi haqeeat ho koi
khwab nahin”.
There should have been an deterministic argument in the wait function of life. But thats what life is all about or not all about.
As i zip through the dark roads of delhi ridge in night in the cab(on 10th March 2008), typing keystrokes in a moving cab like a maniac geek listening to himesh reshammiya, i wonder is this the future …dark and gloomy or will there be happiness. Some answers should be left for time to answer in the “hope” everyhting will be alrite and hence we should wait.
If you think this was another worthless blog out of my mind’s drains, then obviously you are mistaken. The moral of the story is that life moves on and so should us. After all it’s been said “Na mohabbat na dosti ke liye, waqt rukta nahin kisi ke liye…waqt ke saath chalta rahe hai munasib yahi aadmi ke liye” and when someone questions this you always have ala carte OSO “picture abhi baaki hai mere dost”
